Lamar will start sophomore right-hander Blake Ford on Wednesday. Ford will be making his fourth start of the season and has a 1-0 record with a 4.50 earned run average. He faced six batters in one inning of relief against the Owls two weeks ago. This will be his first appearance since starting and working three innings against Texas-Pan American in the first game of last Tuesday's doubleheader sweep. He did not factor into the decision after striking out two and allowing one hit.
