Brandon Belt was especially affected. Ruffin somehow got a key to Belt's room, went upstairs and hid in the closet. When Belt arrived, Ruffin opened the closet door a time or two, making it creak.
Eventually he jumped out.
"I remember Belt had a bat in his hand," Ruffin laughed. "I was like, 'Whoa, whoa!' "
