Coach says Dez Bryant is a Heisman candidate

Mike Gundy says the former Panther is one of the top eight players in the nation, according to The Tulsa World:

“I think Dez has played well enough, and has competed and played well enough in big games, that he has earned the right to be a Heisman candidate,” Gundy said. “There are probably six or eight (players) across the country that have earned that right. For his position, what he is able to do and how he can change a game, he deserves to be in that race."
