Chargers cut Kynan Forney

A pretty big surprise, as the former Dragon was once predicted to be the starter. North County Times has the story:

Though he didn't play a snap for the Chargers last season, he was signed to a two-year, $4.8 million contract extension during an offseason when former right guard Mike Goff was allowed to leave via free agency. Forney was struggling with a neck injury and losing a position battle with rookie Louis Vasquez, but there was no indication that he would be cut.
