Kevin Thomas named pitcher of the week

The Midwest League named the former Central Bulldog the pitcher of the week, according to Our Sports Central:

Thomas, 22, boasts a 2-0 record with a save and a spotless 0.00 ERA through 18.1 innings this year. He has 13 strikeouts with just three walks and seven hits allowed. On April 15 against Beloit, the Texas native tossed two hitless innings to close out game one of a doubleheader, combining with Hector Cardenas to throw the first Quad Cities no-hitter since 2001.
